Work weekend
Jules came down last weekend and helped out with some random projects around the homestead and also logged some quality baby time.
Julie is now a professional flower planter after her days at the greenhouse so we took full advantage of her abilities. She does nice work.
We also have the garden in now- can't wait for that first salad!!
Dismantling the old shed....Jeff plays air guitar while Julie actually gets some work done.
Baby's First Canoe Ride
Our friends Ron and Sharon came down from Fairbanks to camp out at Quartz lake with thier kids so we went down for the afternoon to hang out with them and Rob and Ellen. Wyatt got to go on his first canoe ride- very exciting.
Wyatt even got to see his first moose- you can see how excited he is.
The ride turned into the dinner cruise.
Umbrellas are great toys for cute little girls.....
and for hairy old guys :)
Isaac wanted his picture taken too!

The Dogs
The dogs were getting a little jealous becuase this whole blog is being taken up by baby pictures. So here is a quick update on the adventures of the dogs. Mancha is shedding buckets of hair, Nellie has been enjoying rolling in the cow manure over at the nieghbors and Tecate has been busy keeping the goats in line and giving Wyatt kisses.
He may be little but he is fast!
The Mexican mutts circle their purebred prey.
John came over with his new pup, "Kobuk" Tecate was excited to have someone his one size to romp with.
Doggie head stands- one of Tecates favorite moves.
The Kids- in order of decreasing size :) I suppose the goats and chickens will get on my case now for not having any pictures of them on here, I will have to remedy that soon.
