6 Months

Okay, so I am still running a little behind on the postings. Wyatt is almost 7 months now but these were taken around six months. He weighed in at 17 lbs/2 oz at his 6 month check up.

Wyatt (unfortunately) loves the annoying musical ball that John got for him.

Obvisously he still can't read...THIS BAG IS NOT A TOY!!

Picking flowers for Mama- what a sweet boy.

One perk of waking up at all hours of the night and having a outhouse- I caught this gorgeous sunset or sunrise ( I can't remember which and they kinda run together in the summer) and rainbow. It was gorgeous!

Rice Cereal- Yummy!

Wyatt is now chowing down on rice cereal. He likes it but eating the spoon and blowing bubbles in the cereal seem to be more fun than actually eating the cereal.

Work Weekend

Kim & Pual stopped by and hung out with us for a few days on their way to the Dawson City Folk Fest. It was their first trip with the new camper, sounds like it was slow going but no broken axles so all is good.

Hanging out may not have been an accurate description of what Kim and Pual did - working out is more like it! I think in the four days they were here they spent more time working on the house than Jeff and I did. Good friends are good to find!!!

Kim did manage to get in some quality baby time and Pual even took a "break" from building and baby sat for an evening while Kim and I went out for a friend's baby shower- what a guy!!

What a guy is right! Somehow between all the building and babysitting Pual also found time to show his love for Kim in the sky- Amazing!

Foster did some baby sitting as well (or baby staring anyway).

Foster must have figured this baby toy was his reward for babysitting.

The boys. Sorry, The Men!

Vacation

My sister and niece (Andrea and Lexi) left the boys at home and came up to visit us for a week. We had a great time with them and miss them already. Andrea took A LOT more photos than I did and is working on a blog of her own, so I will just post couple shots. Check out Andrea's blog using the link on the side bar.

We started off the trip in Fairbanks- hit the farmer's market, went panning for gold and checked out the pipeline.

After spending a few days at home in DJ we headed south to Anchorage for 2 nights in the rain then went to Seward. In the above picture we are out on our boat cruise. We saw whales, sea lions, otters, eagles, puffins and finally had some good weather.
We spent the night with Dave and Shiway then went to the sled dog rides. Here we are on our dog cart.

Lexi loved playing with the puppies.

Our last stop was a a day hike at Exit Glacier- it was really nice and the sun was out :)

Then it was back in the car for the drive back to Anchorage and the airport :( Check out Andrea's blog for more pictures.

Finally!

After waiting over a month, the well drilling guys finally showed up!!

And the septic guy was right behind them..
So now we are pretty much set to actually move forward with building the addition. Jeff has been working on getting the foundation extended, no going back now!!

Gettin' out with the girls

Adrian, Rachelle and I went for a fantastic bike ride on Coal Mine Lakes Road (~ 1/2 hour south of Delta). It was GREAT to get out of the house, get some exercise and spend time with friends. And don't tell Wyatt but it felt pretty good to have some time away....I even left the dogs home- no one to worry about but myself!

It's not about who can get up the hills the fastest, it's about who can get the dirtiest!

The best way to end a good workout is to chow down on cheesesteaks, fries and milkshakes!!

Catching up....

My apologies for being such a blogging slacker lately. I know you have all been dying to see how much cuter Wyatt has become since my last posting on Father's day.

Our little nature lover
Sitting up all alone now!
Packing on the pounds- Wyatt is now sporting a double chin, wrist rolls and even fat knees.

There's that tooth!
Putting it to good use...turtles taste good!
