Reunion

We were lucky enough to squeeze in a day and half with my friend Deb from college and her family. They drove in from MN and we meet in Tomah WI, the Cranberry capital of the world. Okay maybe not of the world but they must have a lot of cranberries there. We spent the night at the Cranberry lodge. They had a very small water park with a couple slides, Edie loved it Wyatt wasn't too sure about it.

Edie's favorite book right now is the Church directory. It has pictures of all the members for their church. She was nice to let me leaf through it with her. Deb and Dave said she knows more people at church then they do. Too cute :)

We went out for a good mid-western fish fry at the local supper club. Wyatt slept through the entire meal. Looks a lot like the picture of him sleeping at the airport doesn't it? Too bad he was not sleeping like this at night when he was supposed to!!!

Vacation with the Mather family

While we were in WI visiting my family Wyatt learned what being on vacation is really all about ......
First of all there is a lot of eating ......

Then there is some drinking....

and watching TV, especially football.

and of course the best thing to do is to spend time with your family!

My Grandma beat Jeff in every game of cribbage, it was so bad that he even had to accuse her of cheating!!

We even got Jeff to get some exercise. Mark said Andreas work out was for girls and not challenging enough for real men and Andrea said MArk was just scared. Jeff took the dare and tried it out. He admittied to being slightly sore the next day- and the rest of us got a good workout laughing at him trying to stay on the ball.

Gramma Pam got some excercise entertaining the baby.

Traveling

Everyone asks how Wyatt did on the plane...he did great. Alittle crying between Fairbanks and Anchorage but he managed to fall asleep just as we were about to land in Ajnchorage to switch planes. We were worried but he actually staayed asleep getting off the plane, during the hour lay over and getting back on the plane. Here he is crashed out in Anchorage.

He woke up for a bit between Seattle and Chicago but it was not bad at all. Only bad part was that Mama and Papa had a hard time sleeping with a baby in thier laps. Hope it goes as well on the way home.

Christmas Tree

We found another tree suitable for Christmas right in our yard again this year. The whole family went, I think the goats had the most fun. They kept trying to eat the tree we picked.

Wyatt was pretty good around the tree. I think he left it alone becasue the needles were too prickly.

Videos

We are back in WI visiting my family and I thought I would take advantage of moms much higher speed connection and post some videos of Wyatt. He is up to 8+ baby signs in addition to saying banana, mama, umm- umm, ba ba for sheep, moo for cow, woof woof for dog and making monkey noises. Needless to say he is very entertaining these days.
